  • Certified Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist (ASCP, AMT, ASMT, or equivalent).
  • Proficient in laboratory instrumentation and result interpretation.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare professionals, and clients.
  • Experience working with diverse patient age groups and meeting their unique needs.
  • Knowledgeable of laboratory protocols, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional committed to quality patient care. Medical Laboratory Technician / Medical Technologist Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform venipuncture on patients across all age groups to ensure specimen quality.
  • Conduct testing within designated departments, troubleshoot issues, and uphold high-quality standards.
  • Follow SOPs for quality control, document actions, and make informed decisions on patient results.
  • Handle proficiency samples, document critical values, and release results confidentially.
  • Participate in competency testing, professional development, and in-service education.
  • Assist with training of new staff or students as needed.
  • Utilize computer systems and Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) effectively.
  • Collaborate positively with patients, visitors, and colleagues.
